Kokoda Primary School
Local builder and teacher at vocational school, Teddy who really saved the day and pulled our building team into line. Ted and a number of other local volunteers were critical to the success of our building project.

River Crossing
All of the building equipment, fuel etc has to cross this river to get to Kokoda as the bridge was washed out two years ago in a cyclone. 200l drums of fuel were purchased (3 of which) by the KCA to run the generator at the Kokoda Memorial Hospital.

Kokoda Memorial Hospital
Kokoda Memorial Hospital, built by Rotary, services some 23,000 people in the greater Kokoda area and has no doctors. Kokoda Challenge Association is currently negotiating with the PNG government to support the hospital with volunteer doctors in 2010 and beyond.
