We are thrilled and delighted to share the news that the Hawthorn YMCA has been awarded “The YMCA Victorian Program Excellence Award for the Kokoda Challenge Youth Program” at the recent YMCA Awards Ceremony.
The excitement was doubled when “The YMCA Victoria Volunteer of the Year” award also went to Brett Phillips - Group Leader of the Kokoda Challenge Youth Program - Victorian Branch. A little while later it was confirmed that Brett had also won “The YMCA Australia Volunteer of the Year” Award.
This is an amazing outcome and recognition for first year of the Victorian Branch of the KCYP. We are proud to be partnered with YMCA and congratulate them on an outstanding achievement. Thank you also to our sponsors for their support, especially in Victoria.
